Full Color Movie Banners To Promote Screen Heritage

I'm a movies lover! So, I can't do anything but applaud this initiative on Borehamwood and Elstree, towns located north of London, UK.

"ICONIC movie images are being hoisted above Shenley Road today as part of a project that aims to promote the unique screen heritage of Borehamwood and Elstree.
Twelve different banners celebrating actors and films, such as Sir John Mills, Richard Todd, Star Wars and 2001: A Space Odyssey, will form a gateway from the station leading to Elstree Film Studios." - Borehamwood and Elstree Times -

These banners are part of the First Impressions project, which is an improvement project that looks to enhance the Borehamwood and Elstree area by taking advantage of the unique role these towns have played in British heritage as a leading centre for film activity.

Full color banners are a great idea to generate enthusiasm and create a special atmosphere. Many cities and towns are using them to celebrate their heritage, to announce events or to attract more tourism to the area. Vinyl banners are the best option for outdoor use. They are more durable and weather resistant, so they will last longer.
