Check out this website I found at timminstimes.com

Diane Armstrong from Timmins Time discusses the confusion some care instructions generate when taking care of our items.... Not the first one, not the last one... certainly some care instructions are a little questionable, such as...
""Made in China. Wash all colours separately. Do not bleach. Wash alone 3 times and wash separately. If colours dark, then wash alone.""

Can you give any examples of care instructions that are impossible to follow or a little bit over the top?

Do you love vintage? Do you know how to identify true vintage pieces?

Care labels and clothing tags on the garment can give you important clues.

"Checking the care label can help narrow down the date that an item was made. For example, care symbols were introduced in 1971, so if you spy these on the label then the item was made after 1971. In the USA, fabric content labels date back to 1960. While they may not be able to provide specific dates, checking labels is still a useful method. " - AllWomenStalk -
